Our History
Two long-time friends, Philip Koosed and Brett Marz, formed Bamko in 1999. Working out of their small apartment, they handled every aspect of the business themselves. Since then, Bamko has exploded into eight international locations, and has become one of the fastest-growing promotional companies in the $22 billion specialty advertising industry. This meteoric rise to the top 1% of the industry can be traced to the founders’ dedication to go above and beyond what was long considered the norm in the promotional item business. Bamko has doubled in size every year it has been in business and has worked with over 10% of the of the Fortune 500 companies.

As Bamko grew, they improved their capacity by opening up satellite offices in New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Qingdao, and Dehradun, India, to complement their main branch in Los Angeles. Opening offices in Asia has allowed Bamko to lower costs, perform exemplary quality control, ensure their factories are practicing fair labor laws, and closely monitor each order. In addition, Bamko’s Indian office gives them a competitive advantage by offering web stores, real time inventory, order tracking, and inventory control to their clients.
